LCFS VERIFICATION SERVICES
Third-party verification such as the service provided by Lincus, is required under Low Carbon Fuel Standards (LCFS) program to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and conformance with the regulation. The LCFS verification program, under CARB oversight, provides confidence and reliability in reported data for stakeholders, market participants, and the public.
Lincus’ Third Party Validation and Verification Services:
- Validation of Fuel Pathway Applications
- Verification of Annual Fuel Pathway Report
Lincus’ highly skilled CARB accredited verifiers will review feedstock and fuel production units, material and energy flows, co-products, production output, transportation modes, CA-GREET 3.0 calculations, and any other factors contributing to the CI. Lincus team will determine whether there is reasonable assurance that the application or report does not contain a material misstatement and is in conformance with the LCFS regulation.
Verification statements are due to the CARB Executive Officer by August 31 of the year the annual Fuel Pathway Report is submitted, beginning in 2021 for 2020 data.
Our LCFS verification services are conducted locally from our three offices covering all of California and from our headquarters in Tempe, Arizona, minimizing timing and costs for on-site visits. We also provide detailed verification reports that includes a facility overview, verification plan, data checks, and issues log to help our clients fully understand gaps and take necessary corrective actions.
