With support from the team of engineers that he manages across three offices, Yeshpal has reviewed and developed more than 2,000 custom project applications and conducted over 100 Greenhouse Gas verification and validation audits on behalf of the California Air Resources Board. He has proven highly proficient in providing regulatory support of energy and demand savings calculations for custom installations in large commercial and industrial facilities. He has provided technical and managerial oversight of $2.5 million annual contracts.
Among other tasks, Yeshpal holds responsibility at Lincus for managing third-party technical reviews for all California investor owned utilities, overseeing emerging technology product evaluations, managing recommissioning investigation projects, developing work papers, developing software solutions, and preparing RFP responses.
Yeshpal has also developed methodology for technical review, monitoring and verification of large commercial and industrial projects. That includes work supporting a utility client in evaluating four new construction incentive applications for a high-tech company that resulted in over 1.8 million kWh and 574 kW energy savings above California Title 24 codes and standards.
The author of numerous articles, Yeshpal has been published in international journals and has presented at several conferences, including American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy conferences. He currently serves as a member on California Technical Forum and is an accredited lead Greenhouse Gas Verifier for the California Air Resources Board.
Yeshpal holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rajasthan, India, a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, India, and a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University.
