With more than 25 years of experience in electric utility energy supply and delivery, banking and finance, Caryn has a strong record of supporting investor owned and public utilities as well as private companies in ensuring that energy improvement contracts are designed and enacted to their expectations.
As the company’s CEO, Caryn reviews all contracts larger than $100,000 per year for the scope of work in program and technical services, and works closely with utility procurement officers to communicate changes and approvals. She is responsible for a project’s final review before its close. Caryn also provides financial reports to assist in strategic planning and decision making. To this end, she has implemented an engineering-specific accounting system that provides detailed and complex financial reports.
Caryn also is involved in marketing, financial program management, customer support, reporting, and contract oversight for all of Lincus’ energy efficiency programs and consulting services. Her knowledge in managing the work in progress has proven crucial in mitigating risks and ensuring delivery of energy savings, project eligibility for efficiency incentives and changes to California Public Utilities Commission policies. Caryn also manages year-end financial reporting to ensure compliance with regulations. She prepares forecasts, manages cash, and oversees invoicing process to ensure optimal performance.
As head of HR management and training, Caryn develops and implements competitive employee benefit programs to attract and retain a talented workforce and ensures compliance with all relevant regulations. She also works to ensure corporate training practices are current with market best practices. In her latest training project, Caryn developed a customer-centric consulting process that ensures program management and consulting engineering staff’s efforts remain centered on the customer at every stage of energy project selection and development.
Caryn holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Personnel Management from the University of Arizona and an MBA in Financial Analysis from the University of Northern Arizona.
