Lincus, Inc. is proud to announce a fundamental commitment to protect the environment by becoming an ENERGY STAR Partner. Lincus, Inc.’s voluntary partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR means that we will be working toward helping our clients improve the energy efficiency and performance of their facilities; we believe that an organization-wide energy management approach will help our clients enhance their financial health and aid in preserving the environment for future generations.
“Benchmarking is a critical first step in identifying energy efficiency opportunities at a building and meeting green goals. ENERGY STAR provides the gold standard in helping building owners and operators evaluate the efficiency performance of their facilities against similar facilities. We are excited to be part of the ENERGY STAR family and look forward to helping our customers achieve their energy efficiency goals,” says Jorj Nofal, President.
In partnership with ENERGY STAR, we will help our clients to:
- Measure and track the energy performance of their facilities at all locations
- Set a goal to improve the energy efficiency of their buildings by 10% or more, in support of the ENERGY STAR Challenge
We will also:
- Encourage our staff and community to learn about the benefits of energy efficiency and to implement appropriate energy efficiency measures
- Encourage other energy consultants with whom we work to join ENERGY STAR and take the ENERGY STAR Challenge
The First Step:
Benchmarking your facility to compare how your building consumes energy compared to similar buildings is the recommended first step to saving energy. By benchmarking your building(s), you can target energy efficiency efforts on underperforming buildings, transfer best practices from our efficient building to underperforming buildings, set investment priorities, use building performance data to track and report relevant changes over time, and earn recognition through ENERGY STAR certification. Experts from Lincus can help you with your ENERGY STAR benchmarking needs as well as with the ENERGY STAR certification process should your building qualify.
